Crestapol 1080 is an exceptionally tough, flexible, unsaturated urethane acrylate in styrene monomer with a very high elongation. It is used to blend with other polyester and vinylester resins to create a much tougher resin formulation. Addition levels with other resin systems are typically in the region of 5-20%. Crestapol 1080 has been used in military applications, marine, tooling and many building projects requiring exceptional toughness.
